Frequently asked questions
- How do I enter page ranges?
- Use comma-separated ranges with 1-based page numbers. Examples: 1-3, 5, 8-10 splits pages 1 through 3, page 5, and pages 8 through 10.
- Why is the output a ZIP file?
- ZIP keeps multiple PDFs in one download, which is faster and easier than many separate browser download prompts.
- Is there a page limit?
- Splitting every page of very large documents (500+ pages) may use significant memory. Consider splitting in smaller range batches.
- Can I add a watermark when splitting?
- Yes. Enter optional watermark text, choose a font size (12–96 pt), and it will be applied to every page of each PDF in the ZIP.
